Flora

Flora is a film about a lonely Filipina home care provider who lives a solitary, bleak life in a small town in Texas.

Her love and fascination with the late singer Selena, whose music she knows by heart, fill the void left by her loneliness. One day, as she cares for Stella, an elderly woman with dementia, she hums a Selena song under her breath. Flora notices a flicker of recognition in her patient's eyes for the first time.

Escaping from the assisted living facility, the two embark on a road trip to Corpus Christi to visit and pay tribute to Selena's hometown.
